The founder, teacher and healer, Master Boby Gurukkal is from Kottayam, a town in Kerala. He initiated his Kalaripayattu and Kalari treatments under the great (Late) Malabar Vasudeva Gurukkal, of CVN Kalari, Kottayam, Kerala in 1992. Later, he got a chance to practice with other different kalari gurus, Traditional Yogis, Institutes and healers in YogaVidya, Aura Cleansing, Massages and Fire arts. At KalariYogi, he leads the practice and projects.

In the year 2000, he moved to Bangalore. He is also an Internationally-awarded creative director in the Advertising. Industry and a renowned Fire performer who believes Agni is the purest form of healing energy which consumes all impurities, yet stays pure. In 2013, he initiated Kalariyogi to review the classic Kalaripayattu training & treatment health culture of ancient warriors and other Yogic practices from the roots

The founder of Jeevodaya Kalari and Ayurveda Hospital, Dr. M.I. Punnoose Gurukal has been practicing Kalaripayattu and Kalari treatments for the last 30 years. He was trained under the great (Late) Malabar Vasudeva Gurukkal, of CVN Kalari.
